I wanted to start this portfolio off with some key points and information about how my portfolio is structured.

Biography
Marijn Horst also known as Majin is a Dutch music producer and digital creator, he has been active as a music producer since 2015.
Majin has produced music for American artists such as Yeat, Lil tecca, Lil uzi vert, Unotheactivist. He has over 60 million streams worldwide and produced on an album that reached No. 58 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
In 2024 Majin began to expand his vision and started learning to create visuals with Adobe and Touchdesigner to support his branding and digital identity. Later that year he started shooting music videos and creative directing for upcoming artists.
In the future he aspires to become a creative director for brands and artists.

Beats
This was a school assignment. We had to choose commercials and produce music that fits well with the commercial. The first commercial is from Lacoste. I made a beat for it in a style I am not very familiar with. The second commercial is from ACW + Footshop. for this commercial I made a beat in a style where I'm familiar with.
Commercials
This was also a school assignment. We received a movie trailer and a small part of a movie, both with the music removed. For the trailer we had to produce the music that fits the trailer. For the small part of the movie we had to produce music that shows/supports the two different vibes of the two alternating scenes.
Movie soundtracks
I was asked by Kunstlinie if I wanted to give workshops on primary schools in Almere for their summer school program. Me and another person gave the kids their first experience with recording a small song! We helped the kids write a small rap on the beat that they chose. I recorded the songs and mixed their vocals.

Me and some friends went to LA to make music with billboard producer Synthetic. We went over to internet money studios to work on music and had some sessions with artists. We also got asked by artist Dom Corleo if we wanted to record some song intro's, he was looking for people with Dutch accents.
